School Screening Camps

Rashid Latif Institute of Allied Health Sciences is successfully running "Screening Camps" in schools as part of our "Community Outreach Program". Screenings are specially designed to discover problems related to Eye, Speech, Language, Hearing and Nutritional health of students to allow for the earliest possible intervention before the problem compounds into something more complicated and difficult to remediate. In this phase, ten schools are scheduled.

3rd Student's National Conference themed "Bringing innovation and excellence in patient care" was organized on Wednesday 17th October 2018. Aim of the conference was to encourage students to actively involve themselves in research in the pursuit of their profession, thus explore and develop varied educational programs creating a healthy impact on our health care system.

Independence Day 2018

Rashid Latif Institute of Allied health sciences celebrated Independence Day. Students presented skits and sang the national songs paying tribute to all those who sacrificed their lives for the country we have today. Everyone prayed for the betterment of the country.

Keeping in view, the importance of Research methodology, Rashid Latif Institute of Allied Health Sciences arranged a Workshop on "Meta-Analysis - Introduction and Application". Dr. Muhammad Asif, a senior lecturer of University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences (UVAS), was the speaker, who gave an insight to the participants, of the importance of Meta-Analysis and its application in the practical world.

Rashid Latif Medical College in association with Rashid Latif Institute of Allied Health Sciences, Rashid Latif College of Physical Therapy and Rashid Latif College of Pharmacy, hosted its 5th Annual National conference on 17 and 18 April 2018. The theme of the conference was "Transformation of Allied Health Practices towards Excellence- a Multidisciplinary Team Approach." Participants from several universities across the country such as Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS), King Edward Medical University (KEMU), Shaukat Khanum Memorial Cancer Hospital (SKMCH), University of Sargodha (UOS) and many more presented their research work to the attendees of the conference. The conference received great reviews from the attendees who said that they learnt a lot of important information through this platform and promised to attend such conferences in the near future to.

"Teachers are the most responsible and important members of society because their professional efforts affects the fate of the earth." Faculty training is essential for excellence in academics. Rashid Latif Institute of Allied Health Sciences is very keen in training its faculty members. Recently, Institute arranged a three day workshop on Research Methodology.

Rashid Latif Institute of Allied Health Sciences Organized 2nd Student National Conference, themed: "Allied Health Sciences and Pharmacy: An Integral Part of the Healthcare System". The conference included competitions for the best oral, poster, chart and model presentations. Several students and professionals, who were eager to showcase their skills, participated in these events. Students and professionals from various institutions, including Rawalpindi Medical College, King Edward Medical University, Riphah International University, University of Lahore and many more, participated in the conference. Goal of the conference was to encourage students to identify their roles and responsibilities in the healthcare systems.
