20th Institutional Review Board (IRB) Meeting – RLMC

The 20th meeting of the Institutional Review Board (IRB) was held on August 19, 2026, at the Museum of the Department of Community Medicine & Public Health, Rashid Latif Medical College, Lahore. The meeting was chaired by Prof. Tazeem Shahbaz (Convener) and attended by Prof. Nasira Inayat, Prof. Nosheen Khurram, Dr. Asma Kanwal, Dr. Rabbiya Sarwar, Dr. Faiza Salman, Dr. Ulfat Jahangir, Mr. Muhammad Nadeem, and Mr. Ahmad Attiq, who actively participated in the ethical review process. During the meeting, one research proposal was comprehensively assessed for its ethical compliance, scientific merit, and methodological quality. Following detailed discussion and review, the proposal was approved subject to minor revisions recommended by the Board. The meeting reaffirmed the Institutional Review Board's dedication to safeguarding the rights and welfare of research participants, maintaining the highest ethical standards in research, and fostering a culture of quality, integrity, and innovation in research at Rashid Latif Medical College.
