5th Institutional Review Board (IRB) Meeting – RLMC

The 5th meeting of the Institutional Review Board (IRB) at Rashid Latif Medical College (RLMC) was held on Tuesday, May 20, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. in the Conference Room. Chaired by Prof. Dr. Tazeem Shahbaz, Director of the Research Cell, the session reviewed eight research proposals submitted in advance. Each researcher presented their work using multimedia, enabling comprehensive discussions on both technical and ethical aspects. The meeting featured active participation from all board members and was honored by the presence of Prof. Dr. Mudassar Ali, Vice Principal and Co-chairperson IRB, whose contributions further enriched the session. After thorough deliberation, seven proposals were approved while one was rejected. This meeting reaffirmed the IRB’s dedication to maintaining high ethical standards and fostering research excellence at Rashid Latif Medical College.
