As part of the 2nd International STUCON 2025, the Department of Community Medicine & Public Health, in collaboration with the Research Cell, organized a highly engaging pre-conference workshop titled “Digital World & Its Importance in Branding.” Held on August 13, 2025 (Wednesday), from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM, the session highlighted the growing influence of digital platforms and their pivotal role in building, sustaining, and promoting personal and professional brands in an interconnected world.
The workshop was facilitated by an esteemed speaker Dr. Hafsa Sarwar, CEO of ECPR Digital, Member of the Lahore Chamber of Commerce who is Digital Studios Certified from Oxford University, emphasized the impact of digital innovation on professional growth. Prof. Tazeem Shahbaz ( HOD Community Medicine and Public Health Department) shared insights on branding strategies in academia and healthcare, while Dr. Rabbiya Sarwar (Assistant Professor) discussed digital branding as a powerful tool for advocacy and outreach. Dr. Aneesa Mahreen (Senior Demonstrator) provided practical approaches for effective digital communication, enriching the session with hands-on strategies.
The interactive session provided participants with valuable knowledge on effectively leveraging digital tools for personal branding, institutional visibility, and professional recognition. The workshop was a huge success among medical students and the response from participants was overwhelmingly positive. The event was efficiently organized through the dedicated efforts of the Research Cell and the organizing team, with special recognition to Dr. Asma Kanwal (Assistant Professor) and Dr. Ahmad Abdullah (Demonstrator), whose coordination ensured the smooth execution and overall success of the workshop.
