Kinesiology-I and Biomechanics:

Kinesiology, also known as human kinetics, is the scientific study of human movement. Kinesiology addresses physiological, mechanical, and psychological mechanisms. Applications of kinesiology to human health include biomechanics and orthopedics, strengthening and conditioning, methods of rehabilitation, such as physical and occupational therapy, sport and exercise. Biomechanics is the study of the structure and function of biological systems by means of the methods of mechanics. Mechanics is an area of science concerned with the behavior of physical bodies when subjected to forces or displacements, and the subsequent effects of the bodies on their environment.

Mechanics may be further subdivided into:

Statics:

Statics is concerned with bodies at rest or in uniform motion.

Dynamics:

Dynamics is concerned with bodies that are accelerating or decelerating. Dynamic systems can be divided into kinetics and kinematics.
