The main focus of this course revolves around understanding the crucial role that physical therapists play in both the industrial continuum and sports physical therapy. Emphasis is placed on acute management of traumatic injuries and/or sudden illness. In addition, injury prevention with an emphasis on advanced clinical competencies related to the practice of sports physical therapy will also be covered.
