The 5th convocation of Rashid Latif Medical and Dental College, Lahore started with the formal recitation of the Holy . Vice-Chancellor (UHS) Prof. Dr. Ahsan Waheed Rathore highlighted the increasing need for medical and dental departments in society, he further said that there is no compromise on the standards of medical and dental departments. He appreciated the services of Madam Sabahat Khan, the CEO of the institution and the college administration in the field of education. Vice Principal of the college Prof. Dr. Mudassar Ali administered oath to all the successful doctors, believing that they would render their services to society fairly and professionally. College Principal Prof. Dr. Tahir Masood welcomed all the convocation guests and thanked them for their good wishes and prayers. The chairman of the college, Prof. Dr. Rashid Latif Khan, while addressing the participants, assured that he will continue his services in the field of education according to international values and his main objective is to make the Medical and Dental College the best institution in Pakistan and we will continue to make every possible effort along with the strictest decisions to achieve this. The Guest of Honor & Principal SIMS Prof. Dr. Zohra Khanum along with the Board of Directors of Rashid Latif Medical College, Madam Zulaikha, Prof. Dr. Farrukh Zaman, Prof. Dr. Yousaf Latif Khan and Prof. Dr. Haroon Latif Khan were also present on the stage. The 8th Batch of MBBS and the 1st Batch of BDS have graduated from Rashid Latif Medical and Dental College this year from these classes. A total of 210 doctors have passed, including 176 MBBS and 34 BDS students. Vice-Chancellor (UHS) Prof. Dr. Ahsan Waheed Rathore awarded gold medals to 92 doctors, silver medals to 10 doctors, and bronze medals to 09 doctors. While MBBS doctor Nimra Khayyam and BDS doctor Mustafa Zafar were also specially honored with the "Best Graduate of the College" award.
