EVENT OF ART & DESIGN SOCIETY (MERAKI)

Meraki is a multi-segment event that includes a fiesta of sur-sangeet and dance, arts, and film festivals. The event entertains participants from medical colleges all around Pakistan. The most competent submissions from each category are the highlight of the event. We invite the contestants and students from all across Lahore to savor a wonderful experience. The event is a success on its own, but the concise food fest alongside acts like a cherry on top.
THE SUCCESS STORY
MERAKI 2018
Meraki’s first event was conducted under the arts and design society in 2018 when Meraki was entirely an intra-college event. It displayed the talents of all the students of RLMC.
MERAKI 2019
In 2019 Meraki was set to be an inter-collegiate which hosted as much as 7 medical colleges. The event expands its bound a little and fluttered like a butterfly.
MERAKI 2020
During the challenging period of the COVID-19 pandemic, we undertook the initiative to host an online event aimed at engaging our students, with nearly 12 colleges participating and emerging as victors, securing cash prizes in the virtual realm. This event not only served as a means of keeping our students occupied but also provided them with a source of entertainment. Against all odds, our event shone as a beacon of accomplishment and resilience.
MERAKI 2021
Under the management of our Chief Organizer Abdullah Zubair, Meraki became the most popular arts and film festival of medical colleges in 2021. The event introduced stalls and was more enriched by our sponsors. The event was applauded upon by as many as 12 participating medical colleges along with VC UHS Prof. Dr. Javed Akram making it a success on its own.
