Rashid Latif Music Society (RLMS) has been the heartbeat of melody, rhythm, and emotion at Rashid Latif Medical College — a place where music became more than sound; it became a language of unity, passion, and identity. Over the years, RLMS has transformed from a small circle of performers into one of the most celebrated societies on campus, symbolizing creativity, teamwork, and artistic excellence. The society’s journey has been one of evolution and inspiration. In 2022, under the visionary leadership of President Saad Madni, RLMS took a drastic turn — reinventing itself, reorganizing its structure, and introducing its talent to a much wider audience. From performing at Ameeruddin Medical College’s Charity Funfair to a mesmerizing appearance at the UHS Annual Conference, RLMS made its presence known beyond its home turf. In 2023, led by President Nouman Akram, the society continued to rise, capturing attention across Lahore’s musical landscape. RLMS didn’t just participate — it conquered. The society proudly won at the FAST Music Festival and secured victory at the CPMC Competition, proving its unmatched talent and professionalism. Every performance, from orientations to concerts, became a testament to the dedication and flair of its members.

In 2024, under President Taha Ijaz, RLMS catapulted into true stardom. This was the year the society became a household name across the medical colleges of Lahore — representing RLMC at StuCon, TEDx, Qawali Night, and countless intercollegiate stages. With breathtaking performances, captivating voices, and a renewed sense of purpose, RLMS raised the college’s banner high and loud. And now, in 2025, under the leadership of President Iqan Ahmed, RLMS has reached its golden peak. The society delivered the grandest Music Fest in RLMC history, a spectacle of light, sound, and pure emotion — and gifted the college its very own official College Song, a melody that will echo through generations. This year stands as a celebration of everything RLMS has worked toward — passion, perseverance, and the power of music. From humble beginnings to center-stage triumphs, RLMS continues to prove that when words fail, music speaks — and at Rashid Latif Medical College, it speaks louder than ever before.
