Pre-Conference Workshop on “Basics of Medical Research” Conducted at 3rd International STUCON 2026

As part of the 3rd International STUCON 2026, Rashid Latif Medical College (RLMC), in collaboration with Rashid Latif Khan University (RLKU), organized a Pre-Conference Workshop titled "Basics of Medical Research" on 13 August 2026. Organized by the Department of Community Medicine & Public Health & Research Cell, the workshop aimed to strengthen participants' understanding of research methodology, study design, literature review, research ethics, and evidence-based practice. The session was facilitated by Prof. Dr. Syma Arshad, Professor, Department of Community Medicine and Assistant Director, Research Cell, with support from Mr. M. Saad Ikram (4th Year MBBS) and Mr. Ahmad Attiq Ul Rehman, (Biostatistician Research Cell) as Facilitator and Ms. Sarah Nazir and Ms. Amna Azhar (2nd Year MBBS) as Co-Facilitators. The workshop witnessed active participation from students and healthcare professionals, providing a valuable platform for developing essential research skills. It highlighted RLMC's continued commitment to promoting research excellence and nurturing future clinician-researchers through high-quality academic initiatives under International STUCON 2026.
