International Conference

RLMC Physiology Faculty & Students Shine together first time at the International Conference, held at Khyber Medical University, Khyber Girls Medical College & Rahman Medical Institute on October 7th & 8th, 2023. RLMC's delegates presented groundbreaking research on a variety of topics.
1.One of the standout presentations at the conference was titled "Clinical Presentation of COVID-19 & its Association with Blood Groups & Gender among Medical Students during Different Waves of the Pandemic." The research was presented by M.Shoaib Asghar, a final-year student under the guidance of Dr. Tashfeen Ikram (Associate Professor).His work delved into clinical manifestations of COVID-19 under the supervision of Prof. Bilquis Akhtar, Prof. Mudassar Ali.
2. Another noteworthy presentation was a well-designed poster on "Plasma Vitamin D trends across various age groups in the cosmopolitan city of Pakistan." Dr. Saman Saeed, an Associate Professor & Mehmood Ahmed Uzair, a final-year medical student. It was meticulously supervised by Prof. Bilquis Akhtar, Prof. Mudassar Ali & Dr.Umer Saeed( RLKUMC).
3. Dr. Sumbal Khalid, an Assistant Professor, presented research on " impact of overuse of social media websites on mental health of medical students."
