Department of Physiology at Rashid Latif Medical College under the guidance of Prof. Mudassar Ali (HOD Physiology) organized a Poster Competition centered on the theme of cell & blood physiology among the 1st year MBBS students. The esteemed panel of judges comprised Prof. Mehr un Nisa (HOD Physiology at CPMC) & Prof. Faheem Mahmood (HOD Physiology from RLKUMC).Ten groups of students participated, leading to the nomination of four standout posters. The first prize was clinched by students presenting on erythroblastosis fetalis, under the supervision of Dr. Shazia Sukhera. 2nd prize recognized the work on erythropoiesis & associated factors, guided by Dr. Saman Saeed. Two posters were awarded joint third prize: one focusing on the transport across cell membrane, supervised by Dr. Tashfeen, & other addressing allergy & hypersensitivity, overseen by Dr. Sadia Islam. Cash prizes to all the winners & certificates to all the participants were awarded by the Chief Guest, Mrs. Zuleikha Khan (Director RLK Associates), Judges & Prof. Tahir Masood (Principal). Mr. Mansoor Ahmed (CFO), Prof. Farzana Amjad, Prof.Sadia Qureshi, Prof. Sofia Khan, Prof.Fahim ul Haq, Dr.Kainat Javed & other faculty members from different departments appreciated the efforts of students as well as the efforts of the physiology faculty.
